50 % payment in advance
Half of the amount is paid immediately and serves as a confirmation of the boat charter contract. The other 50% of the price is payable 6 weeks before departure. You will receive an email reminder for payment. The price may be increased by optional extras paid by invoice in advance.
When planning a holiday or trip abroad, it's always advisable to take out insurance to cover your back. We offer a comprehensive service that includes cancellation insurance, deposit insurance (BASIC or EXTRA options), as well as travel insurance.
Deposit insurance provides peace of mind, ensuring that your refundable deposit will not be entirely lost to the charter company in the event of a covered incident. Find out more HERE.
Travel insurance covers medical expenses and assistance if necessary. Read more HERE.
The lowest price guarantee on the market

Deposit insurance included
Included with your charter is BASIC deposit insurance, which covers partial or total loss of your boat deposit as a result of accident, theft, vandalism or acts of God. (In addition to BASIC insurance, we also offer an EXTRA option with additional liability and negligence insurance. More info below).
Upon picking up the boat at the marina, a refundable deposit is required in addition to the full charter price. If an insurance claim arises, the charter company will retain a portion of the deposit; however, the insurance ensures you are eligible for a refund. In the event of a claim, the deductible is 20 %.
Please note: The charter company may offer you a partially refundable damage waiver when you take delivery of the boat. In practice, this means that you pay, for example, €200 as a non-refundable deposit and another €250 as a refundable deposit. This deposit is not covered by BASIC (or EXTRA) insurance. In the event of an insurance claim, the damage waiver must be dealt with directly with the charter company concerned.
25–50 % payment in advance
The amount of the deposit depends on the conditions of each charter company.
Partially refundable payment
In the event of a need to change or cancel a booking, a refund of a portion of the deposit paid will be arranged through communication with the specific charter company.
Don't want to leave anything to chance? Pay extra for EXTRA deposit insurance. The policy also includes gross negligence and liability insurance, including consequential financial loss and damage to the health of others. For this additional insurance, you only pay the difference between the price of BASIC and EXTRA insurance. For example, with a refundable deposit of €2,000, the cost of BASIC insurance is €94 and EXTRA insurance costs €205, so you only pay the difference of €111. In the event of a claim, the deductible is 10 %. Find the price list of the deposit insurance HERE.
In addition to the deposit insurance, we offer cancellation insurance, which comes in handy in case of sudden cancellation. Find out more about this coverage HERE.
